Minute 60 (by Victoria Guerra Rovira)
In the vastness of our modern society, it is easy to feel like we move like a flock of sheep or a swarm of ants, incessantly repeating the same actions and patterns day after day. Routine becomes our constant companion, and time seems to slip through our fingers as we follow the path marked by social norms and expectations.
Often, we find ourselves immersed in a whirlwind of responsibilities and commitments that can leave us questioning the true essence of our existence. Is this the purpose of life, to follow pre-established guidelines without questioning them? We become cogs in a giant machine, perpetuating monotony and uniformity.
However, amid this apparent chaos and repetition, a beacon of hope emerges: family. Family constantly reminds us that we are human beings with emotions, bonds and love. They are the ones who push us to move forward when the weight of routine threatens to suffocate us.
In my case, my family reminds me that I am not a simple cog in an impersonal machine but a human being with dreams, aspirations and desires. That is why I wanted them to appear in my project too. The videos of my family are the only ones in color since that's how I feel having them in my mind.
