Minute 46

For minute 46, I decided to make a video. The original minute reminded me of industrialization, which on the one hand stands for transformation, change and development, but on the other hand also stands for hectic, monotony and social injustice. I tried to combine these aspects in my new minute(s). For the final minutes of my videos, I asked friends to send me some videos of situations where they feel “free”, relaxed and happy. It turned out that most of us feel happy on vacation, maybe because that is where we can escape our daily routine which is charac-terized by stress. Despite the fact, that vacation is something extremely beautiful, it is also a privilege and part of a vicious circle which reproduces the power of money and social injustice. A critical discussion of that is not integrated in the new minute, unfortunately (trying to add it in my updated version).
